Jennifer Garner Returns to ABC

Alias star Jennifer Garner is teaming up with her former network -- as a producer.

Garner has struck a new production deal with ABC Studios through which she develop projects through her Vandalia Films production company along with partner Juliana Janes.

The two plan to lure film writers to television and work with writers from Garner's past series Alias and Felicity. Their focus is to develop female-driven projects along the lines of Grey's Anatomy.

Karolina Kurkova Expecting a Baby Boy!

Now that the news is out that Victoria's Secret model Karolina Kurkova is engaged and expecting a baby, the happy couple are excited to share their big news -- they're expecting a baby boy!

“The wedding is not set yet. We don’t know what we’re going to do and where,” she told OK! at the Nelson Mandela Foundation Gala. “But I’m definitely very excited. This is my first pregnancy, my first child, my first engagement. I’m just enjoying it more than anything.”

“We just found out it’s a boy. We’re thrilled,” her fiance Archie Drury reveals. “We couldn’t be happier.”

It's still a bit early, but the baby may have a voice in deciding his own name.

“There’s a couple [names] I like but we’re not set on anything. There’s one that the baby really likes. It’s really funny. So I think he might have decided his name, the baby, not us,” Karolina says. “I don’t want to say it, but he knows his name because the baby responds when I talk about that name.”

There is a definite trend with fellow Victoria’s Secret models -- Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum, and Gisele Bundchen -- all expecting this year.

“It’s like a baby moment. It’s almost like the trend right now,” she jokes. “I had no idea. We obviously didn’t plan something. It happens.”

“I’ve talked to all of them,” she adds, “congratulated them, and Heidi, I’ve seen her at the Met and that’s when she was already showing and popping. She was actually one of the few people that I told because we’re very close to our due dates. I think it’s awesome. I think it’s a nice message for the fashion industry, a nice thing showing that we are real women and we are normal and healthy and that’s why we can get pregnant, that we really take care of ourselves and our body. And we’re growing up. We’re not 17 or 18. We’re becoming women and becoming moms.”

Mira Sorvino Welcomes Her 'Miracle Baby'

"As soon as they placed him in my arms I knew it had all been worth it," Sorvino, 41, says. "He is my miracle baby. With everything that threatened this pregnancy and both of our lives, he came out of it completely unscathed: perfectly healthy, beautiful and wonderful!"

Holden joins 4-year-old sister Mattea, and 3-year-old brother Johnny.

"We are overjoyed to bring our beautiful healthy son home to his brother and sister," the couple have said in a statement. "We are blessed to have a home filled with so much love."


Sorvino's pregnancy included several complications, including placenta previa, which caused her to be hospitalized for several weeks and to be placed on complete bed rest.

"I developed a blood clot (DVT) due to all the inactivity and had to be anti-coagulated for months to prevent a pulmonary embolism," she said. "I spent another two-and-a-half weeks at the hospital, during which time, missing the children and my husband and knowing what the separation was doing to the kids became almost unbearable. Prior to this nine-week hospital stay, I had only ever spent one night away from Johnny and Mattea."

Her labor and delivery included some complications and nearly resulted in an emergency C-section.

"The baby was very big [8 lbs, 12 oz.] and he came a couple of weeks early so it took longer than we thought," she reveals. "During the day we had some scary difficulties with the epidural as I achieved almost no progress with the labor and then at night the placenta created problems again. Although it was not blocking the baby's path as it had done for almost the entire pregnancy, it started causing me a substantial loss of blood. Just as we began begging for a C-section, the situation turned around and the end of the birth was very easy."
